Perception (Pain), 2007-2008, Anatomical tract, face, Cast concrete 31” h x 18” w x 1”d
This installation is composed of two anatomical tracts and faces, that can be installed together or separately. This piece centers on the limited ideas and realities of human perception - and shows what one can not always see. The human figure is exposed from the inside out - and explored in an anatomical, interior, and poetic way - as a place of memory, darkness, and transformation.
